Arc System Works’ highly anticipated Guilty Gear XX spiritual successor, Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, is finally out and will be hitting US arcades within the next few days. Complete with a signature Daisuke Ishiwatari soundtrack and 720p visuals, this game will be a surefire hit.
Simultaneous US-Japan release is incredible for a game of this caliber. I hope an arcade or two gets Blazblue near me soon. If so, I expect my quarters to disappear quickly…

I think my brain is trained to laugh whenever I hear Sugita Tomokazu.

I’m hoping my arcade buys this, but I’m assuming they’re selling it in a cabinet as opposed to just the kit, and Chinatown Fair doesn’t buy cabinets anymore, ever. But yeah, I’d love to play it.

I can dream for a PC release with netplay right?

Actually, Asksys is selling kits alone, but arcades need a HD cabinet. Even the cheaper ones are still pretty expensive.
The game’s slated for a 360/PS3 release in mid-2009. I’d love a PC release, though it’ll never happen.

Guilty Gear with different people. Still looks fun though.
