I love Minori Kushieda. She is the perfect leader of the Dragon Alliance rebel front, rising up to defeat the totalitarian Royal Tiger Federation. Those evil dictators will pay!

Toradora (also known as Tale of the Galactic Dragons) is an epic space wartime opera, set to the backdrop of star-crossed lovers, Taiga Aisaka and Yusaku Kitamura. The Earth is controlled with an iron fist by the ruthless Royal Tiger Federation. Minori Kushieda and her long-time friend and fellow soldier Ryuji Takasu form the rebel Dragon Alliance to take back their country and restore peace to the land.

Through seven episodes, Minori and the Dragon Alliance have dealt considerable blows to the Royal Tiger armies. With their control of Earth’s resources and capital, it won’t be easy, even with Minori’s superior tactics.

The action scenes are fluid and well-directed. The drama is poignant and heartful. I recommend Toradora to all looking for this season’s top political drama.
