Wasn’t Code-E some dorky high school comedy/drama with slight sci-fi elements? I didn’t know it was a 90s-styled full-blown sci-fi cop series. Not that I’m complaining!

I approve of the 90s hair, the jazzy retro soundtrack, and the entertaining action scenes. This is no Birdy the Mighty flashy, but Studio Deen has done some good work here, which is unusual for them in recent times.

I hope Junji Nishimura and his staff can keep the quality up after this very unexpected first episode. Mission-E could end up being a winner.
